In June 2010, Kim Glover Wells was hired as a property management assistant to support the director of property management with the 250,000 square foot East Jefferson General Hospital medical office building (MOB) portfolio. Her responsibilities include: accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), month end financials, and managing tenant calls and concerns. She also issues work orders to the onsite engineers and assists with the scheduling of maintenance calls for the buildings.
Prior to SRSA, Kim was employed as an assistant property manager by Lamar Asset Management & Realty Inc. of Morristown, New Jersey. She was heavily involved in every aspect of property management: tenant relations, property inspections, contract negotiations, lease proofing, new lease set up, expense control, collection of rent, accounts payable and monthly reporting. Kim assisted the property manager with 400,000 square feet of company owned and managed shopping centers in Florida and Alabama.
Previously, Kim enjoyed success in various administrative roles. As an executive administrative assistant for Clipper Land Development, she assisted the land developer with bookkeeping, payroll processing, day to day activities for the land and construction companies and also served as treasurer of the Clipper Estates homeowner’s association. In her role as A/R manager and assistant to the comptroller for Culligan Water Systems, Kim supervised all aspects of accounts receivable, dispatched drivers, managed all customer service related matters and also assisted the comptroller with month end reports.
Kim is a graduate of Shelby County Vocational Tech in Columbiana, Alabama where she received an accounting certification.
