Our team proudly represented the buyer, WVUE Fox 8, in the acquisition of 3900 Howard Avenue—a multi-million dollar transaction that brings the station closer to New Orleans City Hall, the Caesars Superdome, and the pulse of downtown New Orleans. With expanded space and upgraded technology, the new facility will enhance Fox 8’s ability to serve its viewers and expand its reach across the region.
This milestone marks the successful first phase of a broader two-property exchange. As part of the overall transaction, Xavier University of Louisiana acquired Fox 8’s former location on S. Norman C. Francis Parkway. SRSA facilitated the sale of the former Fox 8 building, representing the seller in this impactful transaction. Once complete, Xavier’s expanded footprint will support its growing enrollment and academic programs—further strengthening its partnerships throughout the city.
The transaction of 3900 Howard Avenue earned the SRSA team the 2023 Office Sale of the Year and 2023 Deal of the Year from CID- NOMAR honors that recognize deals demonstrating significant complexity, community impact, and long-term vision.
