Mark shares responsibility for SRSA Asset Management, which oversees a diversified portfolio of office, retail, hotel and industrial property. He is principally engaged in the development and operation of the 200+ acre Northpark Business Park in Covington, Louisiana and has served as Keeper/Receiver on several distressed assets including Oakwood Shopping Center and Northgate Mall. Additionally, Mark is also the national master broker for Taste Buds, Inc., the creators of Semolina Restaurant and Zea Rotisserie.
Prior to joining SRSA, Spizer was employed as a real estate portfolio manager with ING Investment Management in Atlanta, Georgia where he was involved in the production and closing of over $1 billion in loans including: fixed and floating rate debt, fixed to float, construction to permanent, secured lines of credit, unsecured lines of credit, participating debt, forward loan commitments and portfolio loans. Mark worked closely with major institutional and private investors, while covering multiple property types and territories throughout the United States. Prior to working at ING, he was an analyst at Holiday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. (HFF), a leading commercial real estate investment bank. At HFF, Spizer's main focus was investment sales and debt placements.
Spizer received his Bachelor of Arts in Real Estate and Finance from Florida State University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers ("ICSC") and the Urban Land Institute ("ULI"), and is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and Louisiana.
